Hinsdale police blotter: An Orland Park Woman and Palos Height man charged with aggravated identity theft

Hinsdale

Counterfeit Bill

A known suspect, at Walgreens 15 Grant Square and Kramer Foods 16 Grant Square, attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at Walgreens and completed a purchase at Kramer Foods with a counterfeit $100 bill, at 4:45 p.m. Feb. 7.

Violation of Order of Protection

A known suspect, at the 10 Block of East 6th Street, was reported for violating an order of protection, at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 7.

Check Fraud

An unknown suspect, at Union Church on 137 South Garfield Avenue, intercepted a mailed check in the amount of $525 and cashed it, at 3:19 p.m. Feb. 9.

Identity Theft

Lisa M. Conry, 42, of 13913 Thomas Drive, Orland Park and Thomas J. Hoekstra, 57, of 12142 South 68th Court, Palos Heights, were charged with aggravated identity theft of a victim over 60 years of age, for withdrawing $4,500 from Hinsdale Bank & Trust, 25 E 1st Street, at 3:50 p.m. Feb. 9.

An unknown suspect, at the 10 Block of West Birchwood Avenue, attempted to open a bank account using the victim’s identity, on Feb. 5, reported on Feb. 10.

DUI

Kimberly B. Lesher, 56, at the 400 Block of West Ogden Avenue, was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use, and the unlawful use of an electronic device on the roadway, at 9:43 p.m. Feb. 12.

Possession of Controlled Substance/DUI

Jorge E. Hernandez-Ruiz, 24, of the 1200 block of South Williams Street, Westmont, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and improper lane use, at 12:47 a.m. Feb. 13.
