Hip-hop star Ludacris will fill the final open headliner slot at the 2023 Wisconsin State Fair

If you missed seeing Ludacris open for Janet Jackson in Milwaukee over Memorial Day weekend, you won't have that long to wait to make up for it.

The hip-hop star (and actor, currently seen in theaters in "Fast X") will headline the Wisconsin State Fair's Main Stage with a 7:30 p.m. concert Aug. 11. That date was the last remaining opening in the schedule for State Fair's primary concert venue.

Hip-hop singer Symba will open the show. Reserved-seating tickets — at $40, $45 and $50 — go on sale at 10 a.m. June 9 at WiStateFair.com. Each ticket includes admission to State Fair for the day of the show when purchased before entering Wisconsin State Fair Park.

Ludacris rounds out a fairly eclectic lineup for the 2023 Wisconsin State Fair's Main Stage. The other headliners: country legends Alabama, Aug. 3; hip-hop stalwarts Shaggy and Salt-N-Pepa, Aug. 4; comedian/ventriloquist Jeff Dunham, Aug. 5; classic pop-rockers Tommy James and the Shondells, Aug. 6; Christian pop duo For King + Country, Aug. 7; kids pop ensemble Kidz Bop, Aug. 8; rock band Halestorm, Aug. 9; classic album rockers REO Speedwagon, Aug. 10; pop-classical violinist Lindsey Stirling, Aug. 12; and country singer Trace Adkins, Aug. 13.
