Hippo Enjoys 'Spa Day' at San Antonio Zoo

A hippo named Timothy at the San Antonio Zoo in Texas was treated to his own version of a spa day on May 31, according to the San Antonio Zoological Society which released video of Timothy looking serene as small fish swam around him.

“Timothy’s up early for his morning spa appointment!” the zoo tweeted alongside the clip.

The popular hippo has garnered much attention in the past few years, and went viral several times, including in 2020 when he demonstrated his athletic abilities and in 2021 when he showcased his painting skills. Credit: San Antonio Zoological Society via Storyful
