NAS Oceana hiring event to be held Feb. 22
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A hiring and networking event for veterans, transitioning service members and their spouses will be held on Thursday, Feb. 22.
The HIRE VETS NOW event is co-hosted by Naval Air Station Oceana Fleet & Family Support Center, Virginia Chamber Foundation and Virginia Department of Veterans Services.
Those in attendance, will be able to connect with 30 Virginia employers representing a range of industries.
Some of the companies include, BAE Systems, Kay & Associates, MI Technical Solutions, Sonic Systems, Portsmouth Public Schools, Southwest Airlines, DOMA Technologies, Dominion Energy and HII Newport News Shipbuilding.
The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Oceana Conference Center, 906 G Avenue, Building 480 in Virginia Beach.
