Who is hiring in the Fresno area? Meet with government employers at this job fair
Are you looking for a government job in the Fresno area?
Those seeking employment opportunities can meet with representatives from more than 30 city, county, state, federal and education agencies at a job fair Wednesday at Chukchansi Park in downtown Fresno.
At Govaganza, hosted by the Fresno Regional Workforce Development Board, job-seekers can also attend a workshop on applying for government jobs, have their resumes reviewed and get free professional profile pictures.
Agencies participating in the event include the cities of Fresno, Kerman, Parlier and Reedley; Fresno County; the Fresno fire and police departments; the Selma and Coalinga-Huron school districts; the State Center Community College District; and the Federal Bureau of Prisons-Mendota, according to the workforce development board.
The job fair is from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Chukchansi Park, 1800 Tulare St., in Fresno. Attendees should register for the event.
