If you’re a Revolutionary War history buff, this Lowcountry estate might be for you.

The property, once owned by Revolutionary War general Peter Horry, is the 957-acre Dover estate, now available for $14.75 million in Georgetown, South Carolina, according to the listing from Hall and Hall.

The estate boasts 1.25 miles of frontage on Winyah Bay, along with recently installed dock and is about 8 miles by boat from the Atlantic. Also, historic Charleston is but a hour’s drive away.

The 2.5-story, wood frame, main house was built in 1810 and “has been meticulously restored and maintained,” the listing states. Oak trees surround the home.

The third floor is currently set up with a bedroom, an office, a storage space and a bathroom. The home also has a temperature-controlled wine cellar and cigar room made of Spanish oak.

There are also four guest houses on the property, an owner’s office and gym, a movie theater, game room, stables and other supporting buildings.
