Historic Downtown Chillicothe to host 17 breweries at first ever Brewfest
CHILLICOTHE— Downtown Chillicothe will be the place to be on June 3 when 17 Ohio-based and nationally recognized craft breweries take to North Paint Street to host Chillicothe’s Inaugural Brewfest. The event is for those 21 and over only.
The festival opens in the historic downtown at 3 p.m. but there are limited VIP tickets available for early entry. Seventeen breweries will be featured, along with local music and selections from downtown restaurants. New Belgium will also be raffling a Limited Edition 2023 New Belgium Brewing bicycle at the event.
“Chillicothe has a long history of beer brewing and is home to two craft breweries and restaurants that feature Ohio beers. It’s a natural fit to celebrate all of Ohio’s breweries and provide Ohioans a chance to taste some new beers, listen to great live music and enjoy the downtown,” said Ben Daughters, president of Downtown Chillicothe.
Local breweries Old Capitol Brewing and Fifty West Brewing Company will be on hand as well as the following Ohio Breweries:
Brewery 33
Crooked Can
Grove City Brewery
Land Grant Brewing Company
Loose Rail Brewing
New Belgium Brewing
Nocterra Brewing Co
Outerbelt Brewing
Scotty’s 22-Brew
Seventh Son Brewing
Sixth Sense Brewing
TinCap

Classic Brands Chillicothe
Local restaurants will also be on-hand with great food pairings.
There will be live music to listen to while guests enjoy their tastings. Flashback Acoustic Party will be playing from 2 to 3:30 p.m.; Murphy will be playing from 4 to 5 p.m.; and The Basement Collective will close out the event from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Advanced General Admission Tickets are $30 with 16 five-ounce tastings. VIP Tickets are $50 and grant you 1:30 p.m. early admission and an additional four tastings. Tickets are also available at the door for $40 for regular admission at 3 pm and $20 for Last Call Admission at 5 p.m. Tastings end at 6:30 p.m. and the event concludes at 7 p.m.
