Robbie and The Ramblers, a very popular Fremont band, is pictured here in 1960 in what is now Veterans Park across from the Sandusky County Courthouse. Behind them is the fountain that was once the base of the Standpipe with Court Street in the background. The band members were, left to right, Bob Carleton, Gary Coleman, Bob (Robbie) Messler, Herm Adams and Denny Lytle.
