A hit-and-run put a former radio host in the ICU. Is this the suspect’s car?

Fort Lauderdale police believe someone driving a white Ford Mustang smashed into a woman on July 3, putting her into intensive care — and they released a photo of the actual Mustang they seek.

The car pictured is a white 2006 Mustang, very basic design with single exhaust and no spoiler on the trunk. It does have two bumper stickers, Florida license plate JRFQ02 and should have front end damage. Police say the Mustang was last seen heading south on State Rd. A1A.

Lynn Hessley, known as “Jesse Jordan” when she worked at Rochester, New York, radio station WBEE, was crossing the street near the intersection of A1A and Seville Street around 10:40 p.m. when she was hit. Her family’s GoFundMe page says she’s still in the ICU and has survived emergency brain surgery.
