'Your Hitler rally cry is repulsive': Reactions to Hamilton County parent group
After the Hamilton County chapter of the right-wing parent group Moms for Liberty featured a Hitler quote prominently in its new newsletter Wednesday afternoon, politicians and others shared their reactions on social media.
Here's what some of them had to say.
To the local members of Moms For Liberty, our neighbors, I say this: Your Hitler rally cry is repulsive. Our community will not be undone by your poison. https://t.co/zitrnKPtio

As a man of devout Jewish faith and a parent concerned about our kids’ education, this hate speech has no place in our community. I’m hopeful my opponent will condemn the organization using this inflammatory rhetoric of the former Nazi leader.https://t.co/4a0Z3ngcfM pic.twitter.com/l8llql3fRc

It was brought to my attention that a special interest group of Hamilton County has been using quotes authored by Hitler.
Let me be very clear,
Hate has no place in Hamilton County or anywhere in Indiana. (1/2)— Victoria Garcia Wilburn for Indiana House (@wilburn4IN) June 22, 2023
No group that quotes Nazis should be anywhere near our children or have any influence in our community. It is time for our community leaders to stop acquiescing to them and make clear that their hateful rhetoric will not be tolerated. (3/3

Mom's for Liberty's version of "educating" our children includes teaching them lies and encouraging them to have zero empathy for others. Their latest use of a quote from Adolf Hitler is yet another example of their efforts to divide our community. (2/3)

The local chapter of Moms for Liberty quoted Hitler in their first newsletter yesterday.
I am absolutely outraged, and know that the vast majority of community members feel the same. There is NO PLACE for hate in our home. Our community and kids deserve better. pic.twitter.com/rtMImLcyrL— Senator J.D. Ford (@SenatorJDFord) June 22, 2023
Hamilton County Democrats are united in condemning the use of a quote from Hitler in a recent Moms for Liberty newsletter, and in condemning Nazism and fascism.https://t.co/8g7b80fscs
