HNL Lab Medicine opens patient center in Scranton

HNL Lab Medicine opens new centerHNL Lab Medicine opened a new patient center Friday at 501 S. Washington Ave.

The new center, which shares the same building with the Wright Center for Community Health, offers short wait times, typically under 15 minutes.

The center accepts all insurance plans and offers self-pay options for patients without insurance.

Most tests are completed within 24 hours after reaching HNL Lab Medicine's reference laboratory in the Lehigh Valley. Patients can receive a text message when results are available and view their results on their computer, smartphone or other mobile devices through MyHNLAccess, a free patient portal.

The center is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Patients may view wait times and check in online at www.hnl.com/scranton.
