Division I State Tournament
The Archbishop Hoban boys finished fourth (626) behind winner Cleveland St. Ignatius (610) on the Scarlet Course at Ohio State on Saturday.
Green (681) was 11th and Medina (686) was 12th.
St. Ignatius' Nick Piesen shot an 8-over 148 to win individual honors.
The Knights had top 25 finishes from Jack Vojtko (T-9th, 154), Nolan Haynes (T-11th, 155) and Chris Pollack (T-16th, 156).
Stow’s Ben Skripac shot a 155 and Green’s Kyle Smith carded a 156.
The Highland girls finished fourth (627) and were 14 shots behind Centerville on the Gray Course at Ohio State. Nordonia (682) was 11th.
Isabella Goyette was fourth for the Hornets with a 6-over 146.
Mercy McCauley’s Kylee Heidelman (141) won the individual title.
Highland’s Paige McKendry (T-20th, 158) and Elizabeth Coleman (T-22, 159) rounded out top 25 performers.
Nordonia’s Julia Gulla and Green’s Ava Pulley shot a 156 to finish tied for 18th.

A.J. Catlett (4 goals), Desmond Johnson (2), Gavin Boltz, Ethan Hodgson, Connor Schultz, Shay Makkar, Jayden Yankovitz and Cooper Procyshyn scored and Revere advanced to a district semifinal Tuesday against 15th-seeded Firelands.

Luke Ballard and Jackson Davis scored first-half goals and the eighth-seeded Panthers beat the ninth-seeded Bucks. Norton plays fourth-seeded St. Vincent-St. Mary on Tuesday.

The Fighting Irish (12-3-2) picked up strong games from Diego Pinto (3 goals), Max Milkovich (1) and Christian Kesler (1) to beat the 13th-seeded Colts and earn the right to play Norton.
In the top-half of the bracket, third-seeded CVCA beat 19th-seeded Bedford 3-0 and 22nd-seeded Orange topped 21st-seeded Tallmadge.

Caden Davis kept the 17th-seeded Hornets (10-7-1) from being shut out by the 13th-seeded Red Raiders. Shaker Heights plays 14th-seeded North Ridgeville on Wednesday.

Ben Mihalek and Tyler Travis lifted the top-seeded Explorers (16-1-1) to a district semifinal Wednesday against 19th-seeded Kent Roosevelt.
Fourth-seeded Twinsburg beat 21st-seeded Boardman 3-0 and 10th-seeded Mayfield beat 20th-seeded Mayfield 5-2 on the bottom of the bracket.

Walsh Jesuit 6, Mentor 1
Xavier Munro (2 goals), Carter Madden, Brady Catanzarite, Vinnie Mancini and Morgen Hammer scored for the sixth-seeded Warriors (13-4-2). Walsh plays seventh-seeded Riverside (11-5-2) on Wednesday. The Beavers beat 12th-seeded North, 5-2.
