Hobby Lobby opens store in Belden Village shopping district, chain's 40th Ohio location

JACKSON TWP. – Hobby Lobby is open for business in Belden Village.

The craft supply and home decor retailer opened its 40th Ohio store Friday morning at 4790 Everhard Road NW. The Oklahoma City-based company has more than 900 stores around the country.

It's the first location in Stark County.

The 55,000 square-foot store will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Hobby Lobby stores are closed on Sunday.

Hobby Lobby stores offer more than 70,000 crafting and home decor products including floral, fabric, needle art, custom framing, baskets, home accents, wearable art, arts and crafts, jewelry making, scrapbooking and paper crafting supplies.

The company began in 1970 as a miniature picture frame business. The chain has grown into the nation’s largest privately-owned arts and crafts retailer.
