Today Show Hoda Kotb is almost finished with her maternity leave. She posted an Instagram video yesterday to share the news that starting September 3, the day after Labor Day, she'll be back on camera by Savannah Guthrie's side.

In April, Kotb, 55, and her boyfriend Joel Schiffman adopted their second child, Hope Catherine, who, according to People, is already "'grabbing things,' smiling, rolling over and grabbing her big sister while Haley is giving her kisses." Kotb and Schiffman are also parents to Haley Joy, who turns three next Valentine's Day.

In April, after teasing followers with a post that read "Choose Hope," Kotb introduced her baby girl to the world with an adorable photo. Since then, she's posted dozens of snapshots of her family, letting followers see her "mom life" in addition to her more glamorous Today Show life.

Hoda and her daughters have spent the summer at the beach, where Schiffman, an NYC-based financier, visited on the weekends. In her recent video, she shared how much she's cherished spending uninterrupted time with her family. “I’m not going to lie, this probably has been the best summer of my entire life with these two kids, I’ve loved every second of it," she said.

But while her Instagram shows her smiling with family, friends, and co-anchors, Kotb still keeps it real with the difficulties of parenthood. “It’s not a vacation,” Kotb said to People. “I worked harder on maternity leave than I did at work. You’re up at the crack of dawn, and you’re up all hours. Stay-at-home moms should be called work-at-home moms." That means a lot coming from a TV personality who starts work before 4 a.m. every morning!

Despite her wonderful summer, Kotb gushed about how excited she is to return to her much-loved position as co-anchor of the Today Show. "You guys I'm so excited," she says in the video. "I'm getting ready, I'm setting my alarm. 3:15 a.m., we'll be back in business. Alright? I love you guys; I cannot wait to see you!"
