HOF Enshrinement Festival general chair and vice chair named

CANTON – The Pro Football Hall of Fame and Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce have named longtime volunteers Todd Hawke as general chair and Kimberly Davenport as general vice chair for the festivities that will celebrate this year's Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement.

Hawke and Davenport will lead more than 2,500 volunteers who help with the planning, coordination and execution of all events surrounding the Enshrinement Festival. The annual event kicks off the NFL season and centers around the enshrinement for members of the Class of 2023 that will take place Aug. 5 in Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.

Hawke, of Jackson Township, is a partner in the local financial services firm GDK & Company and is serving his third term as an elected Jackson Township trustee. He is entering his 21st year of volunteer service with the Enshrinement Festival.

Hawke is active in the community through committee and board service to the Canton Regional Chamber Health Fund, Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio, AultCare and Strengthening Stark.

Kimberly Davenport
Kimberly Davenport

Davenport, of Plain Township, is the director of culture, diversity and engagement for Shearer’s Foods. She is starting her 20th year of volunteer service with the festival and has served on and led the Hostess Committee.

Davenport sits on the chamber Board of Directors, the Stark County Manufacturing Workforce Development Partnership Board, and serves as committee chair for the Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic and is a member of Stark County Community Moving Forward.
