Hogan responds to congressional delegation over COVID-19 vaccines

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan responded to members of the state's congressional delegation who said they are seeking reforms to the state's distribution of its allotted COVID-19 vaccine doses. In a letter sent last Tuesday to the governor, the lawmakers said a lack of a coordinated distribution network is causing an inequitable vaccine rollout among minority communities. In a letter sent Monday in response to the congressional delegation, the governor pointed to federal programs that facilitate partnerships with retail pharmacies and other policies to open eligibility to priority groups in Phases 1B and 1C that were advocated by the president and federal officials.
