Holby City's Chloe makes a shocking discovery about Evan
Holby City's Chloe Godard will have her life turned upside down tonight (July 16) when she makes some shocking discoveries about her new husband Evan Crowhurst.
Viewers have watched Chloe (Amy Lennox) being manipulated by evil Evan (Jack Ryder) over the last few months and was even coerced into marrying him during last week's tense episode.
Chloe was forced to hastily tie the knot with Evan when he refused to undergo a life-saving operation if she didn't.
However, prior to emergency surgery, Chloe was unsettled to discover that a woman named Sophie was listed as his next of kin.
As her loved ones continue to worry about her in tonight's episode, Chloe starts to realise just how little she really knows about Evan. Will she be rocked by more family revelations?
With both Cameron and her half-brother Dominic adamant that Evan is manipulating her, Chloe does some more digging – desperate for answers.
When Chloe goes behind Evan's back and meets with the mysterious Sophie, she is given a stern warning about her husband that leaves her reeling.
As Chloe confronts Evan, he claims that Sophie is an obsessive ex-girlfriend who stalked him when he ended their relationship three years ago.
Unconvinced, Chloe arranges another meeting with Sophie, where she makes a discovery that threatens to change everything. What is it? And what will Chloe do now?
Holby City airs these scenes tonight at 8pm on BBC One.
