Holby City's Dom and Ben to share a kiss after Lofty exit
Holby City fans were devastated when fan-favourite couple Dom Copeland (David Ames) and Lofty Chiltern (Lee Mead) broke up, but now it looks like there could be another surprising love interest on the cards, although we're not sure everyone would be too thrilled about it...
Next week's (February 18) episode will see Dom struggle emotionally with his mum having an operation, and Ben Sherwood (Charlie Condou) is there as a 'knight in shining armour' to support him during a rough time.

Later, at the end of Dom's shift, he's shocked when Ben decides to kiss him out of the blue.
Could this be the start of a new romance? Well, the thing is... Ben is meant to be having a thing with Essie Di Lucca, after she kissed him out of the blue late last year.
Speaking about the Ben/Essie (Bessie?) romance, Charlie told Digital Spy: "Ben and Essie get involved fairly quickly and it causes tension between her and Sacha, as they have got this on-off thing which has been going on for years.

"It's going to be tricky, but he definitely falls for Essie in a big way. He really likes her. It's not going to be plain-sailing and very complicated for everyone involved. He wants to think it can go the distance."
Clearly he doesn't think it's that much distance.
Holby City airs these scenes next Tuesday (February 18) at 8pm on BBC One.
