Despite the fact that Cardi B absolutely killed her performance at the 2019 Grammys, some people out there are convinced that she might have had a bit of extra help with her vocal.
The rapper put on the most incredible choreographed rendition of ‘Money’ at last night’s event but there were certain moments throughout the track that had some people thinking it was too good to be true.
After a quick glance at social-media, it didn’t take long for viewers to jump to conclusions about how her vocal seemed to be slightly out of sync with the way her mouth was moving.
“Cardi B, in your lipsync for your life tonight... well we didn't like it like that. i'm sorry my dear but you are up for elimination,” one person wrote, as another said: “Am I the only other person who thinks it looks like cardi b is badly lip syncing?”

On the other hand, plenty of fans couldn’t care less about the accusations, with one pointing out: “Cardi ain’t the first to lip sync a rap performance, so let’s keep it the f**k cute, mmkay? Cause my bitch ATE. Period.”
Even though lip syncing has been banned at the Grammys since 2012, the show’s audio co-ordinator previously revealed that there are certain instances when “track augmentation” might be permitted for songs with a difficult sound design.
Besides, it’s unlikely that these comments will make even the tiniest dent in Cardi’s good mood considering she just won her first ever Grammy award for Best Rap Album. Okurr!
