Holden woman killed following single-vehicle crash in Johnson County, Missouri

HOLDEN, Mo. — A Holden, Missouri woman is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Johnson County, Missouri Thursday morning.

The crash was reported just after 11:30 a.m. on Missouri Highway 2, just east of County Road and SW 1931 Road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

MSHP said the driver of a 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling eastbound when the driver went off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch, overturned and then struck some trees.

The driver of the Tahoe, identified as 44-year-old Julie Huston, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
