QUINCY – Author Patricia Harris will talk about her most recent book, “New England’s Notable Women,” from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, at the Thomas Crane Public Library, 40 Washington St. Harris’ presentation will highlight suffragist Alva Smith Vanderbilt Belmont, champion of equality in education Prudence Crandall and astronomer Maria Mitchell, among others. Symphonic Winds to perform holiday concert at ENC

QUINCY – The Symphonic Winds will perform its holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at the Cove Fine Arts Building, 23 East Elm St. on the Eastern Nazarene College campus. Consisting of Eastern Nazarene students, community members and high school students, the wind ensemble performs a program of Christmas medleys, concert marches and more. Concert highlighting different cultures be held at church in Milton

MILTON – Milton Community Concerts presents “Let’s Celebrate” at 7 p.m Saturday, Dec. 3, at the First Parish of Milton, 535 Canton Ave. The program gives a preview of four new musical dramas produced by White Snake Projects, highlighting holiday traditions from four different cultures in America. The fully staged and orchestrated performance will premiere in Boston the following week. Admission is pay-as-you-can, with a suggested donation of $20. 51st annual craft fair to take place at Weymouth High School

WEYMOUTH – Weymouth’s Class of 2023 will hold its 51st Annual Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Weymouth High School, 1 Wildcat Way. Garden club to hold Greens and Craft Sale on Saturday in Abington

ABINGTON – The Abington Garden Club will hold its Greens and Crafts Sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the United Church of Christ, 10 Bedford St. The sale features wreaths, centerpieces, knitted items, hand-crafted jewelry and more. Proceeds benefit the Abington Garden Club’s programs and civic projects.

Concert of music from the Victorian era planned for Saturday

Randolph accepting applications for Resilient Randolph Fund

RANDOLPH – The town will spend more than $1.5 million in federal COVID recovery money over three years on resources for residents facing financial hardship. The Resilient Randolph Fund has distributed more than $1 million to 800 Randolph residents since its inception in March 2020.
