Holiday show with over 4 million lights skips Sacramento this year. Where is it instead?

Sacramentans will need to drive south to visit Enchant Christmas this year.

Last year, the immersive holiday show that’s famous for its millions of twinkling lights and its holiday village set up in West Sacramento’s Sutter Health Park. Although the event won’t be back in the capital region this year, it will remain in Northern California.

You’ll just have to make the trip to San Jose — and it’s the only Enchant show in California this season.

About the light show

Enchant is bringing its holiday light show experience to seven locations throughout the country this year.

The immersive experience transports visitors to a holiday wonderland. There are more than 4 million twinkling lights throughout the grounds, according to the website.

Guests can also explore a light maze, an ice skating rink and a village with artisan vendors and crafts. Kids will have the opportunity to visit Santa Claus and get professional photos taken, according to the website.

Enchant has been hosting immersive holiday light events since 2016.

When is Enchant Christmas coming to California?

When: Nov. 24 to Dec. 31

Where: PayPal Park, 1123 Coleman Ave. in San Jose It is 120 miles from Sacramento, an estimated two hour drive from the capital city.

Tickets: $25 for kids to $38 for adults. Special ticket prices are available for seniors, military service members and family bundle packets. Enchant tickets can be purchased online and are available now.
