Despite the bad weather on Wednesday, there were still some local high school sports teams in action.

The Holland wrestling team headed to Zeeland West for a quad on Wednesday night and are heading back home with two wins. Holland defeated Zeeland West 60 - 13. Holland then defeated Grand Rapids West Catholic 54 - 20. Holland wrapped up the regular season conference duals undefeated.

Going 2-0 on the night for the Dutch was Jasean Newsom, Luis Barajas, Cristian Castro, Michael Gibson, AJ Silva, Nik Ortega, Josh Keller, and JoJo Morin.

Holland wraps up the regular season with a 19-7 record.

The Varsity team will wrestle in the Individual Conference tournament this Friday at Reeths Puffer.

Zeeland West senior Tai Navarrette earned his 100th career varsity win for the Dux at the quad.
