Holland's Farmers Market returns with fresh veggies, food trucks

HOLLAND — Despite a slight chill and rainy weather, vendors and shoppers descended upon the Holland Civic Center on Wednesday to enjoy the first regular farmers market of the season.

For the remainder of the spring and summer months, the local favorite will be open 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays at 150 W. Eighth St.

nullThe Holland Farmers Market brings together nearly 100 local farmers, specialty food vendors and food trucks with fresh fruits and vegetables, bread and baked goods, honey, maple syrup, jams, meats and more.

“We couldn’t be more excited for the start of the 2022 season of the Holland Farmers Market,” said marketing coordinator Kara de Alvare.

“After almost two summers of operating under COVID restrictions, we’re looking forward to getting back to normal this year and focusing all of our efforts on what we do best, which is connecting the community with fresh, healthy and local food. We can’t wait to welcome back all of our farmers, vendors and, of course, our loyal customers.”
