Hollyoaks' Adam Woodward shares real-life health drama after collapsing at home
Hollyoaks' Adam Woodward has opened up about a recent, real-life health scare after collapsing at his home.
The actor, who plays Brody Hudson on the Channel 4 and E4 soap, took to Twitter on Wednesday (December 4) to share two messages with his followers, revealing that he passed out from back pain and was unable to get back up when he came to.

"I fell over yesterday and banged myself up worse than I thought," he began the post. "This morning I woke up with so much back pain that when I tried to stand I collapsed and passed out.
"I was stuck on the floor when I came round unable to move," he said, adding that Sophie Porley, his real-life girlfriend who played Ellie Nightingale on the soap, called an ambulance for him.

In a second post, he continued: "After a little wait they came and helped me get to my feet with pain killers, gas and air and a helping hand.
"Despite still being banged up I am forever grateful for our NHS and the fantastic work they do. Thank you to those paramedics! Our NHS must be saved for the many."
