Hollyoaks airs DNA test twist for Ella and Warren

Hollyoaks' Ella Richardson has asked Warren Fox to take a DNA test to confirm that he is her father.
In recent weeks Ella has been determined to find out who her biological dad is, first setting her sights on Tony Hutchison. But she soon turned to Warren as the most likely suspect after discovering they had a number of similarities.
Earlier this week an emotional Ella ended up lashing out at Warren after he and his mother Norma cancelled her sixteenth birthday at The Loft.

Ella's seemingly extreme reaction to Warren led to Norma following her and overhearing her tell Cindy that she believes Warren is her dad.
Believing Ella to be her granddaughter, Norma immediately embraced her and agreed to throw her a birthday party.
In tonight's episode (Tuesday, August 8), Warren was confused as to why Norma decided to go ahead with the party. Norma told her son that throwing a sweet sixteen would be good for The Loft's image and he reluctantly agreed, while warning his mum not to keep any more secrets from him.
At the party Ella nervously asked Norma if she'd told Warren her secret but Norma explained that it would be better if they tell him together.
Meanwhile Sharon was telling Warren that she thinks Ella might have a crush on him, to which he replied that Ella's mum used to have a thing for him as well.
Later, when Warren was about to leave, Norma cornered him and said she'd like them to have a fresh start at being a family, with her, him, and the kids.
She then said that Ella had something to tell him but before she could speak, Shing Lin took the microphone and exposed Ella for sleeping with her boyfriend.

As Warren tried to shut down the party, Shing Lin then said Ella has been telling everyone that Warren is her real father.
Warren was left confused and angry and believed that is mother had set him up to be humiliated. However Sharon reasoned with him, telling Warren to go back to the garage and let everyone calm down.
Later Ella went to see Warren at the garage and apologised for what happened, telling him that wasn't how she intended for him to hear the news.
Ella then explained that she'd done her research and the dates added up to him being her dad. But Warren questioned her motives for wanting to know if he is her dad, given his reputation in the village.
However, Ella made it clear that she's not looking for money from him, just the truth about her paternity. Warren then said that if a paternity test was positive it would mean she's a Fox but Ella wasn't deterred and bluntly asked him to take a test.
Will Warren agree and help give Ella the answers she desperately wants?
