Hollyoaks' Summer attacks Liberty before disappearance

Liberty Savage has been viciously attacked by Summer Ranger after discovering her sister Sienna Blake's affair in Hollyoaks.
The week capped off with the shocking lead-in to Liberty's sudden disappearance from the village, as she was threatened by both Summer and Sienna at different points.
In Friday's (June 11) first-look episode, Damon was having a heart-to-heart about how he wanted to move in with Liberty, but couldn't afford it. Brody assured him he could use the money saved for their New York bar as a down payment.

Liberty arrived just to hear Damon ask Brody not to mention his plans, so Brody scrambled to make up an excuse — that they needed someone to pick up Summer's wedding shoes.
Lib offered to drop off the shoes, but this led to a shock discovery as she happened to overhear Sienna telling Summer to break off her engagement because Brody didn't deserve her.
She overheard Summer telling Sienna: "I promise you, I have no intention of marrying Brody. It's you I want."
"Then prove it," Sienna dared her.

A stunned Liberty met up with Damon to warn him she had some to tell him, but it would "change everything". Damon questioned whether she was off her meds given her alarm, making Liberty even more furious.
"There's only one person I need to talk to right now, and it is definitely not you," she angrily told Damon.
At that same moment, Summer checked her voicemail and received the earlier message from Liberty explaining she was on the way with the wedding shoes. Summer then glanced over towards the open door to notice her shoes dropped on the floor.

Liberty had gone to confront Sienna at her flat, where she insisted this was all a part of her sister trying to manipulate Brody in a new way.
"Brody deserves to know. Look at the person you've become," she told Sienna.
"If you breathe one word of this to Brody, I'll make everybody believe you're off your meds again," Sienna then threatened. "You're my sister. I don't want to hurt you, so please don't give me a reason to."
After insisting that was "the last time" Sienna would ever get to call her a sister, Liberty stormed out. However, it wouldn't be long before she'd be confronted by Summer.
"Sienna wants Brody, always has," Liberty insisted. "All you are is a distraction."
Summer didn't take kindly to being dismissed, explaining that she wished Brody "was dead" because of the role he'd had in Cormac's death.
"What I've got planned for our wedding will be way more satisfying than any bullet," Summer threatened. "It almost makes me glad that I'm such a bad shot."
With Liberty now putting together that Summer was the one behind Sienna's shooting, Summer physically attacked her and vowed it'd be a secret Liberty would take to the grave.
Liberty was left lifeless in The Folly as Summer glanced to make sure there were no witnesses. All of the fallout will air next week…
