Hollyoaks' Diane Hutchinson rejects Edward to reunite with Tony
Hollyoaks has revealed more about what's ahead for Tony Hutchinson now that he's finally free again.
Tony (Nick Pickard) has spent the past few months locked away on Breda McQueen's pig farm, but after the dramatic events of Hollyoaks Later, his ordeal is finally over.
Tony will be spending time in hospital in the immediate aftermath of Hollyoaks Later. However, by the time next week's episodes arrive, his wife Diane (Alex Fletcher) is preparing for his return home.
Viewers have just seen Diane sleep with Tony's father Edward (Joe McGann), ready to close the door on her marriage. However, Diane feels very differently once she knows what really happened to Tony.

Ahead of Tony's return home, Diane warns Edward that he can never know about their secret passion.
Soon afterwards, Tony walks back through the door of his flat and is properly reunited with Diane. Edward clearly isn't happy as he watches the emotional reconciliation.

The following day, Diane is moved when she overhears Edward sharing some kind words with his son.
Diane then gets jealous when she sees Edward on a date with Marnie Nightingale (Lysette Anthony). Could it be that Diane isn't able to let go of Edward after all?
Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Monday, January 13 and Tuesday, January 14 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
