Hollyoaks has revealed new hope that Tony Hutchinson could finally be freed from Breda McQueen's clutches in the show's highly-anticipated stunt week.

Tony (Nick Pickard) has spent the last few weeks trapped on Breda's pig farm, after he unmasked her as the village's secret serial killer.

With the net closing in following Goldie's discovery, Breda (Moya Brady) will decide that her only option is to let Tony go back to the village.

With Tony desperately hungry at the farm, he is left reeling when Breda arrives with a big announcement about her next move.

Breda tells him that their friendship has to come to an end, and the kindest thing to do is to put him out of his misery.

Tony is left fearful following Breda's declaration, but after a call from Goldie, she decides to change tactic and let Tony go home.

Sadly, as the day of Tony's release arrives, disaster strikes when Breda crashes into one of the cranes en route back to the village, causing a crack in the floor.

As everyone rushes to unconscious Breda's aid following the accident, fans discover what all this will mean for Tony...

Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Monday, October 28 and Tuesday, October 29 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
