Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey has announced the sex of her second child during her star-packed gender reveal party.

The actress, who plays Goldie McQueen in the soap, threw a party over the weekend to celebrate the upcoming arrival of her second baby, and she used the occasion to share the news that she is expecting another little girl.

The big news was revealed via plane, with the party guests gathering to watch the plane soar overhead, leaving a trail of pink smoke. Chelsee further confirmed this by popping a confetti cannon filled with pink decorations.

The actress offered more insight into the huge party through her Instagram Stories, as she shared snaps of a bouncy castle and a pair of ponies wearing pink tutus and unicorn horns.

The party was attended by several of Chelsee's Hollyoaks co-stars, including Mercedes McQueen star Jennifer Metcalfe, Warren Fox actor Jamie Lomas and Cleo McQueen actress Nadine Mulkerrin, who welcomed her own second baby with co-star Rory Douglas-Speed last year.

Felix Westwood actor Richard Blackwood shared his own photos from the occasion on Instagram, writing: "Well done to @chelseehealey for her beautiful Gender Reveal! You both set the Levels on how this ting is done!!! Everyone showed up and showed out, fashion was at a 10!! Godbless".

Prince McQueen star Malique Thompson-Dwyer and Garcia Brown, who plays Zoe Anderson, also enjoyed the celebrations, as did Sharon Bailey star Jamelia.

Chelsee already has a 5-year-old daughter, Coco, with her ex-boyfriend Jack Molloy, while she is expecting her second baby with her partner.

The actress announced her pregnancy last month, revealing that she is delighted to be able to give Coco the sibling that she has always wanted.

"For as long as Coco could talk she has asked for a baby sister or brother," she wrote on Instagram as she shared the news. "Feel beyond blessed to be giving her her wish and being a mummy of 2 and I can't wait to have another baba to love unconditionally".
