Hollyoaks viewers were left shocked and distraught earlier this week when serial killer Breda McQueen murdered fan-favourite character Harry Thompson.

Harry met his end after Breda gave his father Tony Hutchinson a reprieve in her murderous campaign against bad dads and turned her attention to Harry instead, stabbing him in the stomach.

Sadly, Harry didn't get a chance to say goodbye to his nearest and dearest, but actor Parry Glasspool (who played Harry) is setting things right.

The actor has created a five-part series titled 'Parry's Parody', where we'll see clips of Harry saying tongue-in-cheek goodbyes to various cast members. All of the episodes have been scripted by Parry himself.

The first farewell is to Gregory Finnegan, who plays Harry's boyfriend James, and was revealed by the soap's Twitter account which posted: "We’re all still traumatised by Harry’s exit last night.

"But probably not as much as Parry Glasspool himself! Watch as he tries to say goodbye to his nearest and dearest in a five-part series: ‘Parry’s Parody’. First up, @GregorTheFinn."

Earlier this week, Parry spoke exclusively to Digital Spy about his exit and gave a farewell message to his fans.

"Thank you for sticking by me through thick and thin, and backing me in times where I may have made mistakes here and there," Parry said. "That's made me feel good about myself, but not in an egotistical way."

Hollyoaks airs Mondays through Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.
