Hollyoaks fans have come up with a dark theory about Diane Hutchinson following tonight's scenes (January 14).
This evening's first-look episode of the Channel 4 soap centred on Diane's tainted relationship with husband Tony, as the memory of his late, villainous father Edward looks set to haunt them again.
Diane has been avoiding Tony in recent scenes, but at one point tonight she was seen cradling her stomach.

Further suspicions were raised when she later lied to Tony on the phone about being at her aunt's, when really she was at the salon. Little did she know, Tony was watching her from outside.
Following her strange behaviour and the cradling of her stomach, some fans are now speculating that she's pregnant with Edward's child, which would obviously have dark implications for the couple.
"Whats up with Diane? Hope she ain't pregnant," tweeted one fan, while another wrote: "Diane being pregnant with Edwards kid, so I'm guessing he done something to Diane while she was in hospital like artificially inseminated her or something like that, or he's in some way drugged her to get her pregnant?"
As viewers know, Edward had an affair with Diane as he spent months scheming against his own son, but could she really be pregnant with his child?
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4. Classic episodes, titled Hollyoaks Favourites, air on Fridays at 7pm on E4.
