Hollyoaks' Warren makes confession over Brody death

Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Warren Fox has secretly confessed to killing Brody Hudson in Hollyoaks.

The villain was the person driving the car that ran down Brody earlier this week, but he has desperately tried to cover up any involvement in the hit-and-run.

Thursday's (September 16) first-look episode saw his former lover Sienna Blake overcome with grief, and understandably assuming Summer Ranger was responsible even though she'd denied any responsibility.

Sienna ironically turned to Warren with a desperate plea to help her kill Summer even though she was already in police custody. When Warren refused, Sienna vowed to at least secure a confession.

Warren's son Joel would later find his dad in a drunken stupor, leading the priest to warn his father the twins will want "nothing to do" with him as soon as they're grown.

During her interrogation of Summer at the police station, Sienna tried to get her nemesis to confess – but Summer maintained she would not go down for a murder she didn't commit.

Yet, when it came time for her witness statement, Sienna insisted: "I saw exactly who was behind the wheel of the car that hit Brody Hudson. It was Summer Ranger."

Meanwhile, Warren reached out to Maxine in an attempt to save their relationship. Maxine refused because she didn't want to be with someone "that everyone's scared of".

Maxine did manage to tip off Warren that Fergus was planning to skip town to move to Mexico, making him realise he was being cheated out of his share of the business.

The episode closed with Warren drinking alone – and reaching out to leave his son Joel a confessional voicemail message.

"You and Felix had Fergus sussed, but I never listened," he admitted. "Now, I've lost everything. I'm left with a crumbling business, and a big, fat mess to clear up.

"I guess you must hear this all the time in your game, but forgive me father for I have sinned. I killed Brody."
