Here's a list of March events and programs at Holmes County District Public Library. Call the library at 330-674-5972 for more information or to register.

March Craft Kit for Teens: Central Library or East Branch; pick up a craft kit with supplies and instructions to create melted crayon jewelry.

Storytime: East Branch, 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays, March 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29. Youth ages 2-5 with an adult are invited to join for stories, activities and songs .

Storytime, Central Library: 10:30 a.m. Fridays, March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31. Youth ages 2-5 with an adult are invited to join for stories, activities and songs.

Little Learners Playgroup, Central Library, 11 a.m.-noon Fridays, March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31. Youth up to age 5, with an adult, will engage in activities to promote reading and social skills. Snacks are provided.

Paws to Read, Central Library,11 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 11. Kids are invited to read to a licensed therapy dog from Caring Therapy Canines.

Dessert Decorating Workshop, Central Library, 6 p.m. Monday, March 13. Hayley Slaubaugh, owner of Old Soul Sweets, will guide participants through decorating an assortment of tasty confections. Registration is required. The program is for adults and teens ages 15 and older.

STEAMKids Club, Central Library, 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 14. Ages 8-14 will explore science, technology, engineering, art and math with a fun, hands-on activity, by creating a leprechaun trap. Registration is required.

Family Movie Matinee, Central Library, 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18. Showing on the big screen an action-packed adventure about a legendary family of explorers as they attempt to navigate an uncharted, treacherous land. Rated PG. Take a comfy chair or blanket, snack and drink. Children must be with an adult.

Charcuti-what? With Kate, Central Library, 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 21. Charcuterie boards and boxes continue to be popular. Learn how to make one with Kate Shumaker, OSU Extension Services Educator. Registration is required.

LEGO Building Night, Central Library, 5:30-6:45 p.m. Monday, March 27. Ages 6-12 are invited for some LEGO building fun. LEGOs and ideas are provided.

Book Discussion for Adults, Central Library, 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, discussing “The Patron Saint of Second Chances” by Christine Simon. At 6 p.m. at Jitter’s Coffee House a discussion will be held about “The Magnificent Lives of Marjorie Post” by Allison Pataki. Books are available to borrow at the Central Library.
