The S6 MaxV is the first robot vac available with Poop Avoidance Technology—not what Roborock calls it, but it’s a suitable name. It IDs common “obstacles,” leveraging AI developed using thousands of images. The S6 MaxV has two cameras to help visually identify objects and room features, as well as LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), that uses lasers to create sophisticated maps identifying walls, furniture, doorways, and smaller obstacles left on the floor. The S6 MaxV can also mop. Bottom line: Of all the robo vacs we’ve tested, this one does the best job of cleaning what you want it to, and avoiding everything else.
