Home and Away major spoilers follow for UK viewers, with some spoilers also following for Australian viewers.
Home and Away will air a shock arrest for Leah Patterson-Baker in upcoming scenes, as the aftermath of Susie McAllister's murder continues.
In scenes that recently aired in Australia, the mysterious Stephen Tennyson (Bren Foster) was arrested and charged with Susie's murder after she was found dead at sea.
Having spent some time hiding in Stephen's hotel room before his arrest, Leah (Ada Nicodemou) had discovered a huge bag of money – containing $90,000 dollars in cash – in his room and secretly took it before police could seize it.
With Leah and her partner Justin Morgan (James Stewart) having been robbed of their life savings by scammer Susie before her death, Leah is adamant that the cash belongs to them and that they have the right to keep it.
But in scenes to air in Australia this week, Leah will be left upset when Justin has a very different opinion on the money, TV Week reports.
Despite Leah's protests that the money is rightfully theirs, Justin is concerned that he will end up in even more trouble with the police if they discover the truth as he's only recently been released after his arrest.
"Leah believes it's their money and they deserve it," Ada told TV Week. "They've been through hell, so this could change their lives."
With Leah and Justin at odds over the cash, Justin surprises his partner when they bump into police officer Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright). Justin asks Cash what would happen if, hypothetically, the money was found, to which Cash tells the couple not to get their hopes up about ever tracking it down.
Justin soon issues Leah with an ultimatum: she needs to hand in the bag of money, or he will.
Later on, Leah and Justin decide to show John Palmer (Shane Withington) that they have Susie's missing laptop, which was also in Stephen's hotel room. When Cash shows up unexpectedly, John panics and tells Leah to hide the laptop.
But Leah knows she needs to do the right thing and she reluctantly hands Cash the bag of money.
She's then given a big shock, as Cash tells Leah that he's arresting her and charging her with being in possession of stolen goods.
Could Leah be facing a prison sentence?
