Home and Away spoilers follow from Australian-pace episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.

Home and Away has hinted that vulnerable teenager Andrew Lawrence may be in terrible danger after the show's latest Australian episodes.

The show is airing a huge new storyline for Justin Morgan, who has spent the past few weeks kindly trying to help Andrew after finding him unconscious in an empty house.

Struggling without proper nourishment or support, Andrew had reached out for help from Justin by sending him a note when he spotted him carrying out community service work nearby.

It later emerged that Andrew had been left all alone as his father had recently passed away. Andrew's dad, who was involved with a doomsday cult, had taken him away from his mother when he was just 4 years old.

This week's episodes on Channel 7 have seen a woman claiming to be Andrew's mother Esther turn up in Summer Bay.

Andrew failed to recognise 'Esther', but Justin and his partner Leah Patterson assumed that it was because he was so young last time he saw his mum.

While Andrew was reluctant to go and live with his mother, he felt guilty when he overheard Leah expressing sympathy over the fact that 'Esther' may never get to bond with him.

Andrew ultimately agreed to go with 'Esther', even though he secretly wanted to stay with Justin and Leah.

Sadly, a new trailer on Home and Away's Instagram page has hinted that 'Esther' isn't all she claims to be.

The promo teases the story with the tagline: "The lie that changes everything." It seems that Justin and Leah may have been duped.

Writing in the comments section, one fan speculated: "Taking him back to the cult. Surely they should have done a DNA test."

Another added: "There is something suspicious about that woman, I don't think she is Andrew's mother."

Home and Away fans in Australia will see the storyline continue to play out this week, while these scenes will air in the UK on Channel 5 in July.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.

In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and streams on 7plus.

Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
