This gorgeous pickup is both beauty and beast.
There's just something about a classic pickup truck that draws you in. Not only does a a vintage truck feature sleek body lines that flow from front to back, but it also exudes toughness. there is also a toughness that comes along with it. This 1969 Chevrolet CST-10 is no exception. This beautiful pickup is hitting the virtual auction stage through GAA Classic Car Auctions on Friday, November 7th.
Back in the day, the CST/10 was the top-of-the-line pickup truck offered in Chevrolet's lineup. Not only did it come with all available options, but it would also haul more than just the mail. It was a desirable truck back in 1969, and that still rings true today.
This beautiful example of a CST/10 was given a professional ground-up restoration in 2015. The exterior is painted in PPG Deep Atlantic Blue paint and then sprayed over with a Pearl clear. Handling is not an issue because it hugs the road with a lowered suspension with the help of power steering. Further complementing the exterior is the addition of 17-inch Billet Specialties Vintec wheels.
Open the engine bay to a professionally assembled Chevy 383cui V8 engine backed by a custom-built 700R4 four-speed transmission with a 2.500-RPM stall. The back is beefed up with a Drivetrain Specialties Dana 60 rear axle, Eaton Truetrac Differential, and 3.73 gears. Open the doors to a black Houndstooth interior complete with Classic Auto air conditioning and a modern audio system.
