Home on a bridge? Check out the one-bedroom house for sale perplexing Zillow Gone Wild

Well, this is certainly new.

A one-bedroom, one-bathroom has landed on the real estate market in Alhambra, California, for $249,950, and it it appears to be rather tiny. Yet, it’s not the price that’s drawing attention — it’s the location.

It’s literally on a bridge.

“Excellent opportunity to get into home ownership and build equity!” the listing on Zillow.com says. “This property is ideal for a young professional that wants to be close to downtown for work.”

It’s referred to as a “cosmetic fixer” with a rooftop that’s 450 square feet, making it perfect to entertain guests, the listing notes. And while it appears to be close to a lot of shops and restaurants, there’s still a question about that bridge.

The popular real estate social media page Zillow Gone Wild was even baffled by its location and wants to know if insurance covers, well, bridge accidents.

“Do you need some sort of specialized vehicle insurance for living on a highway? Or bridge insurance? Or....can you GET insurance for this?” one person asked.

“Important question: Is this home under the bridge??? Or over it?? Or something else???” the page itself asked. “We can’t figure it out.”

“Over the river and thorough the woods and on top of repurposed overpass/culvert combo to grandmother’s house we go,” another person sang.

“I would love there. Park you car on the roof and batcave down a pole,” someone joked.

“I’m legitimately confused. Who is responsible for the upkeep of the bridge it’s built on?” one person asked. “I feel like this is a zoning nightmare.”

“This is actually very interesting and I would love to see what someone with an imagination could do with this!” another said.

“I kind of like it,” someone observed.

“Oh so I suppose trolls are just going to live in normal houses in the sunlight are they,” one person tweeted.

To buy this house thee, must answer a riddle three,” one person joked.
