Home for Christmas: Missing English Cat Reunited With Family After Nine Years

A missing English cat presumed to be dead was returned to her family in Manchester on December 19 – nine years after her disappearance.

Katie Hayes, who runs Pawpurrs Halfway House, said Marley was delivered to her charity by a man who found her straying in the area.

Hayes was able to then use the animal’s microchip to contact the original owners, shocking the woman on the other end of the phone.

Marley, who is turning 20 years old, was returned home in time for Christmas with her family.
