Former “Home Improvement” star Zachery Ty Bryan reached a plea deal for charges stemming from a 2020 domestic violence arrest.

The 39-year-old actor pleaded guilty to menacing and assault in the fourth degree, both misdemeanors, after an altercation with his girlfriend in Eugene, Ore., in October 2020 over missing phone charger cables, according to TMZ.

The Eugene Police Department said officers were dispatched to an apartment in North Eugene apartment after a report of a physical dispute. At the scene, they found Bryan, 39, outside the apartment and his girlfriend, 27, at a neighbor’s residence.

According to the police report, Bryan assaulted the victim, impeded her breathing, and took her phone away when she tried to call 911. The victim declined medical assistance.

As part of the plea deal, “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” antagonist charges of strangulation and coercion, both felonies, and other misdemeanor charges, including interfering with making a police report, were dropped as part of the plea.

As part of his plea, Bryan received three years probation and must complete a batterers intervention program.

Bryan played oldest son Brad on “Home Improvement” from 1991-1999.
