New home in Millbrook's Savannah Place perfect for commuters

Put the tools in storage and relax in a new four bedroom, three-bath home for sale in Millbrook’s secluded Savannah Place. The neighborhood is tucked off Deatsville Highway near the community golf course.

The two-story home was built in 2022. There also are lots for sale in Savannah Place, which is located on the west side of Deatsville Highway just north of the golf course.

“Savannah Place is beautiful and quiet with well-maintained homes,” Realtor Cindy Cauthen said. “Savannah Place has a manicured and decorated entrance and some homes back up to the golf course. This is one of the few new construction homes in Millbrook.”

The building of traditional brick and stone homes started in Savannah in 2005, and continues, Cauthen said, adding that the builder has lots and floor plans available.

The new home at 42 Charlton Curve in Savannah Place provides four bedrooms and three full baths within 2,175 square feet of living space. The property is for sale for $324,000.

Savannah is located within Millbrook’s city limits and behind The Pines Golf Course, Cauthen said. “The home is within four minutes of the interstate and Prattville. And only 20 minutes to Montgomery — perfect for the commuter,” she said.

The home at 42 Charlton Curve provides three full baths within 2,175 square feet of living space. “The home basically has two master suites,” Cauthen said. “The home would be perfect for a guest, older children, or an elderly family member. The home backs up to a gorgeous, wooded area that offers lots of privacy.”

The large open kitchen includes stainless appliances, a work island, and quartz countertops. The master bath features double sinks, a tiled shower with a glass door, garden tub, and walk-in closets.

The design includes a fireplace, ceiling fans, energy-efficient windows, a tankless water heater, two-car garage with an automatic door, pull-down stairs to the attic, and a back patio.

Mature shade trees in the backyard will help keep utility bills down in the summer.

The property is for sale for $324,000.

Millbrook continues to draw families taking advantage of a slower pace of life and small-town atmosphere. The Elmore County community also is attracting new professional businesses.

And in 2023, residents will be enjoying recreational opportunities offered at Millbrook’s new sports complex located along Highway 14.
