Home Sweet Home: Meet Roxy

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — This week, FOX21 Morning News and the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) are featuring Roxy, a five-year-old female blue ticked and red ticked Queensland Heeler mix that came into HSPPR as an owner surrender.

Roxy is a sweet and friendly girl who loves head rubs and snoozing on the couch. She also enjoys squeaky toys and milkbones. HSPPR said Roxy is already house and crate trained and has an adorable habit of being a submissive grinner. She has experience living with cats but can’t resist chasing squirrels. Roxy enjoys people more than other dogs so she might do best as the only dog in the home.

Roxy’s adoption fee is $95. Her adoption includes a voucher for a veterinarian exam, vaccinations, 30 days of pet health insurance, a microchip, and she is already spayed. She is available for adoption immediately.
