Erin Napier never fails to elicit an emotional response from her fans, and for good reason. The Home Town star, author, and mother of two uses social media to offer glimpses into her real life, and her words are always honest and heartfelt. Erin is always careful to protect the identities of her young daughters on social media, but she does share stories of Helen and Mae with her followers, and her words on motherhood are always relatable.

This week, she shared a sweet photo of 4-year-old Helen in her ballet attire, complete with a tutu, personalized backpack, and picture-perfect bun. Erin wrote, "Her third ballet recital 🩰 Watching the seniors on stage for their last dance crushed me and I wondered if Helen will still be dancing when she’s all grown up."

Fans flooded the comments section with messages of support and shared memories of their own children.

  • "Watched my youngest recitals since age 3 to 18. She’s 27 now and I’m watching all my grand babies recitals. 😢💔"

  • "Squeeze every drop out of every day! It passes waaay too fast! 💖"

  • "I was just telling my husband today how amazed I am that in every season, God in His Grace, prepares my heart for it! It’s amazing really. When my boys were Helen’s age it crushed me to think about them being older! But now that they are (15 and 20) it’s sweet! Every season gets better! 🙌🏼🙌🏼"

Of course, Erin isn't the only Napier who resonates with fans. Her husband, Ben, can be just as emotional. His Mother's Day tribute to Erin shows how much he adores his wife and daughters. Ben wrote, "We do every single thing together in this life, but they will never argue and fight over hugs from me. Happy Mother’s Day, @erinapier. You’re one of the best."

In case you missed it, Erin wrote a children's book with illustrator and fellow Laurel resident Adam Trest. The Lantern House will be released on May 24.
