HomeGoods to open store in Stow this month, bring 65 jobs

HomeGoods is set to open a new store in Stow next week.

The home décor store, which will be located Stow Community Shopping Center at 4220 Kent Rd., will have its grand opening Aug. 25, a release said.

HomeGoods expects to hire approximately 65 full- and part-time positions for its Stow location which will be open Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.

HomeGoods merchandise departments include furniture, rugs, lighting, decorative accessories, kitchen and dining, bedding, bath, pet accessories, storage, workspace, outdoor, gourmet, wellness and more.

In celebration of its new store location, HomeGoods is contributing to the community by donating $10,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Summit County. Habitat for Humanity of Summit County has built over 200 homes and has housed more than 300 adults and 500 children. Mortgages are paid directly to Habitat in monthly installments, creating a fund that helps provide resources to build more houses in Summit County.
