Here's what we've been working on this week.

Sometimes, money takes a back seat to principles. Real estate reporter Jim Weiker shares how some home sellers are willing to take a lower offer just to keep their properties out of the hands of investors.

Jim's also been tracking the transition from WOW! to Breezeline internet and TV in the Columbus market. It's not going well.

Report for America Corps member Yilun Cheng this week brought us the story of a permanent U.S. resident from Sierra Leone who's become the poster child for whom President Joe Biden's immigration policies are trying to help. The 26-year-old green card holder is facing deportation charges after voting illegally in the 2016 primary election.

Ending abortion access may exacerbate the racial health care divide, disproportionately harming Black women and those without the financial resources to take time off work and travel 50 miles to end a pregnancy, health care reporter Max Filby writes this week.

And what's a Columbus news week without Ohio State University football? Coach Ryan Day's contract was extended this week, the Dispatch sports team reports. He'll make $9.5 million a year through 2028, $2 million more than he did previously.
