Homer teens injured in rollover crash in Reading Township

READING TWP. — The Hillsdale County Sheriff's Office reports that two teenagers from Homer were injured in a crash in Reading Township on Thursday, Nov. 17.

Deputies were dispatched to the area of Card Road near Fowler Road at 2:35 p.m. Nov. 17 for a report of a rollover crash with two persons entrapped in the vehicle.

A preliminary investigation showed that 18-year-old Kassidy Godbey and passenger 18-year-old Evan Brouse were traveling eastbound on Card Road when Godbey lost control of her vehicle and exited the roadway to the right, causing the vehicle to rollover.

Both Godbey and Brouse were wearing seat belts and both were transported to Hillsdale Hospital by Reading Emergency Unit for injuries suffered in the crash.

The Reading Fire Department and Reading Police Department assisted on the scene.
