Homewood-Flossmoor Pets Up For Adoption: Meet Donny, Mother Parker, Petunia & More
Looking to add to your family and do something good for the Homewood-Flossmoor community at the same time? Maybe it's finally time to adopt a pet! During the coronavirus pandemic, many pets are still looking for their forever homes and facilities still working to fulfill adoptions and place pets with families.
There are thousands of dogs, cats and other animals of all ages, sizes and breeds without a home in Illinois — and many of them are located not too far from you. For those looking to adopt, a great place to begin your search for a lovable new companion is at Starfish Animal Rescue, where Petunia the dog is waiting patiently, or another local shelter. If you aren't sure if you have time to take care of a pet year round, many shelters also offer opportunities to foster pets until they are placed.
