Craving Southern bites? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Honey And The Trapcat, the new arrival is located at 1023 Front St., A in Old Sacramento.

Honey And The Trapcat serves up tacos, fried chicken sandwiches, fried cauliflower, baked macaroni and cheese and burgers, as well as desserts like banana bread pudding and chocolate mousse. To drink, beer, wine and cocktails are on offer.

With a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition is on its way to developing a local fan base.

Nikki D., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 5, wrote, "Don't let the menu items think you're about to get greasy bar food (which don't get me wrong is also delicious) because what you get is quite the opposite. We left feeling we got a five-star meal with five-star service and didn't feel weighed down at all by our orders."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Honey And The Trapcat is open from 2 p.m.–2 a.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m.–2 a.m. on weekends.
