The fast-casual restaurant serves customizable stir-frys with freshly made noodles, salads and honeybars that use “wholesome and simple, and very often, locally grown foods,” Rosenberg explained.

“Customers can choose from a robust variety of nutrition-forward options that cater to a wide range of lifestyles -- anything from paleo-friendly to high protein,” he said.

“Our mission is centered around nutrition, but we focus on so much more than just healthy . . . Our priority is high quality and taste that just so happens to be more nutritious than usual, and every experience is personalized for our customers,” added Rosenberg.

The opening comes just days before its 10th anniversary on June 14, when honeygrow will celebrate by giving away free honeybars to customers at each of its locations and launching a limited-time summer menu “paying homage to its roots,” according to a press release.

“I can’t believe it has already been10 years since we made that first stir-fr y— it was a spicy garlic — at our 16th Street spot. Ten years is a significant milestone for any company and if not for the passion and dedication of our customers in supporting us through so much, we simply would not be here,” said Rosenberg. “Giving our guests a free honeybar on June 14 is just a small way of showing this deep appreciation.”

Honeybars are a sweet treat that comes in a variety of options, including the apple pie honeybar and the brownie crumble honeybar. Customers can also create their own honeybar, choosing from a number of ingredients like yogurt, fresh fruit and chocolate chips.

Honoring its Philadelphia beginnings, the Spicy Chicken Cheesesteak Stir-Fry will be available on honeygrow’s summer menu, made with egg white noodles, roasted chicken, mushrooms, red onions, spicy cherry peppers, shaved parmesean, cheese wiz and a garlic herb au jus. In addition, the new cheesecake honeybar, with strawberries, blueberries, streusel crumble and cheesecake filling, will make a limited appearance.

“When I opened the first honeygrow on 16th Street in Philadelphia in 2012, the idea of what we have achieved was a dream. Having that dream come true while serving the incredible communities that have welcomed and supported honeygrow over the last ten years is a very humbling feeling,” said Rosenberg in the release. “As we look to the future with exciting growth locally and in new markets, we will always have a special place in our hearts for the city of Philadelphia. I’m excited to give a nod to our hometown as we bring our take on a Philly classic to honeygrows this summer.”

Curb-side pick-up and delivery is available through the honeygrow app and third-party delivery partners.
